Revenge with Music was written in the fall of 2010. Creator Johnny Locke had just gotten out of his band of over a decade and did the only thing he knew how to do, write and perform music. 9 of the 12 tracks were written in one night. The evolution of the album began.
Starting off buying recording software to help with the writing process, Johnny found that the recording quality was much better than he expected. Week after week went by buying more and more equipment until he decided he was going to record, mix and master the whole thing himself.
The music has been described as "what would The Ramones do to death metal." The lyrical content is far more complex. Johnny started channeling years and years of personal anguish, demons and triumphs into lyrical content. The result is a brutally honest but refreshing outcome.
